The connections of Dawi celebrate after the win.
Doha, Qatar: Sheikha Iman bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani-owned Dawi edged Alhafar in a thrilling feature to claim the Ain Sinan Cup, handing jockey Lukas Delozier a hat-trick of wins at Al Uqda Racecourse yesterday.
The Rudy Nerbonne-trained horse maintained a fine pace in the 2000m Purebred Arabian Open battle to beat Alhafar, ridden by Szczepan Mazur, by three quarters of a length and grab top honours. Jefferson Smith rode Safi Al Zaman to third place in the contest.

Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) Racing Manager, Abdulla Rashid Al Kubaisi, crowned the winners of the feature.
Dawi’s triumph capped a phenomenal day for Delozier, who had earlier led Dohah and Heater to victories in QREC’s 14th Al Uqda Meeting that had seven races on the card.
