Istanbul: President of the Republic of Turkey HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Saturday with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, who is visiting Turkey.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE the President of the Republic of Turkey, and High Highness' wishes of health and happiness to HE the President and for the Turkish people further progress and prosperity.
For his part, HE the Turkish President entrusted HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness health and happiness and the Qatari people continued development and growth.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to develop and support them, and discussed the latest developments in the region and issues of common interest.
