More than 25 differently able students took to the stage demonstrating their various cultural talents during the 13th Annual Day Celebrations of HOPE Qatar Centre for Special Needs held recently at Qatar Academy School auditorium in Education City.

Held under the theme ‘We Are The World’ the event was attended by various members of the Qatari and expatriate communities. Students with different  disabilities  enthralled the audience with their spirit and enthusiasm.

The students seemed determined to demonstrate that amidst their individual challenges, they had the will and ability to enhance their abilities to overcome their weaknesses.

Buthaina Ali Al Nuaimi, President of Pre University Education of Qatar Foundation, and Machaille Al Naimi, President of Community Development at Qatar Foundation graced the event as chief guests. The annual day events were held under the patronage of Jumma Ismail Al Boeinein, Chairman of HOPE Qatar.

Dr  Rajeev Thomas, Founder and Managing Director of HOPE Qatar Centre highlighted the achievements of the centre and the impact it has had in Qatar over thirteen years since establishment in 2005.

He said that for a small centre with no external funding, HOPE has gone through various ups and downs, yet they were determined to support the vision of the wise leaders of the country to ensure contribution within their means to the human development pillar in the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Qatar National Development Strategy.
