DOHA: Indian Ambassador Sanjiv Arora, together with the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) held a reception on Tuesday to mark India’s 67th Republic Day at the Grand Hyatt Hotel here.
The event was attended by Minister of Transport and Communications, H E Jassim Seif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, Ambassador Ibrahim Yousif Fakhro, Head of Protocol at the Foreign Ministry, Akbar Al Baker, Group CEO of Qatar Airways, ambassadors of several countries and other dignitaries.
While addressing the ceremony, Arora highlighted the achievements in bilateral relations between Qatar and India in different spheres. He appreciated Qatar for its support to India. Arora also shared the recent achievements of India in several fields.
The dignitaries cut a cake to mark the occasion and Indian traditional dances were performed by
students.
