Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at the Emiri Diwan copies of credential of three new ambassadors to Qatar. Emir received the credentials of Ambassador of the Republic of Finland, Riitta Swan, Ambassador of The Bahamas, Tony Joudi, and Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi, Issa Ntambuca.
The Ambassadors conveyed the greetings of leaders of their countries to the Emir and their best wishes for the Qatari people of further progress and prosperity.
The Emir welcomed the new ambassadors and wished them success in their missions and for the relations between Qatar and their respective countries further progress and prosperity. Earlier, the Ambassadors were accorded official reception ceremonies at the Emiri Diwan.
Emir met at the Emiri Diwan yesterday with outgoing South Africa's Ambassador, Saad Cachalia, ho called on the Emir to greet him on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Qatar.
Emir wished the outgoing Ambassador success in his future assignments and further progress and prosperity for bilateral relations between the two countries. For his part, the Ambassador expressed thanks and gratitude to the Emir and the officials in Qatar for the co-operation he received during his tenure.
