The officials of the General Directorate of Traffic, during a visit to Jawaan Bin Jassim Model Kindergarten for Boys in Al Dafna.
The General Directorate of Traffic yesterday visited the Jawaan Bin Jassim Model Kindergarten for Boys in Al Dafna as part of its awareness plan on traffic safety.
Under the plan, the Department will visit a number of schools in different parts of the country on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year.
During the visit, gifts and publications were distributed containing awareness tips to enhance the traffic safety of the young people, which will help them avoid many of the wrong traffic behaviors.
Commenting on the visit, Colonel Nasser Dorman Al Hajri, Assistant Director General of Traffic, said: “The visit aims to provide the necessary guidance and requirements to enhance awareness of the values of traffic safety. The awareness programs for school students will continue throughout the school year.”
The kindergarten administration welcomed the visit, expressing their thanks to the General Directorate of Traffic for the visit and reminding the youth of the principles of traffic safety.
