The Peninsula

The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation has announced the results of its charitable and humanitarian programmes and projects implemented during the first half of 2026, with a total value of QR6,449,342, as part of its mission to support the most vulnerable groups and promote the values of social solidarity.

The foundation’s efforts included providing financial and in-kind assistance to a large number of individuals and low-income families, as well as covering tuition fees for students unable to afford them at various educational levels. It also provided medical treatment support to patients facing financial burdens beyond their means, contributing to improving beneficiaries’ quality of life and meeting their basic needs.

Supporting health and education for a better life

Building on its vision of “Health and Education for a Better Life,” the foundation continued to focus on the health and education sectors as key pillars for achieving sustainable community development.

In this regard, the foundation provided financial support worth QR3,175,396 to a number of organisations, institutions and associations working in the health and education sectors. The support contributed to assisting patients with chronic diseases and financing surgical and medical interventions for those in need, alongside other forms of healthcare assistance that reflect the foundation’s commitment to contributing to the development of a healthier society.

In the education sector, the foundation continued, through self-financing, to support students from financially disadvantaged families by covering tuition fees at private schools, community schools and universities.

This assistance helps students continue their education and removes financial barriers that could prevent them from completing their academic studies.

Financial, in-kind assistance to  low-income families

The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation continues to implement its initiatives and projects through a sustainable approach based on self-financing.

This strengthens the continuity of its programmes and reinforces the values of social solidarity by providing financial and in-kind assistance to low-income families and helping ease the living expenses they face.

As part of its commitment to reaching the widest possible segment of beneficiaries in Qatar, the foundation employs flexible and effective mechanisms that ensure a swift response to various humanitarian needs.

During the first half of the current year, the foundation provided financial and in-kind assistance worth QR3,273,946, targeting the basic needs of eligible individuals and families. The assistance contributes to improving their living stability and creating a positive and sustainable impact on their lives.
