Doha: Qatar expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted the area around Mogadishu airport, resulting in many deaths and injuries among African Union peacekeeping troops, private security forces and civilians.
In a statement yesterday, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Qatar’s solidarity with Somalia and the mission of the African Union, especially in light of its role in establishing peace and stability in Somalia, and maintaining its unity and sovereignty, and standing with the people of Somalia. It renewed Qatar’s stance rejecting violence and terrorism, reports QNA.
