Doha: Pakistanis working at Qatar Fertilizer company (Qafco) in Mesaieed organised a function to bid farewell to collogue M A Awan from Islamabad who had worked for 34 years.
M Ayyaz Qazi was the chief guest of the function; Furqan Ahmad Paracha conducted the proceedings.
Ayyaz Qazi, Iqbal Akhtar, Nawaz Akram and William Anthony recalled the memorable moments they shared with Awan during his stay in Qatar.
They extended good wishes to him in his future endeavours and appreciated his devotion and sincerity towards his friends and colleagues.
Awan praised his colleagues and the management for support he received.
He also thanked the Pakistani community in Qafco and said he was leaving with fond memories. M R Naqvi, M Abass and Furqan Paracha entertained the colleagues with poetry.
