QatarEnergy honors 152 long serving employees

QatarEnergy celebrated 152 employees with long service career milestones of 30, 35, and 40 years of service, including three employees who had the distinguished continuous service of 45 years.

Doha, Qatar: QatarEnergy celebrated 152 employees with long service career milestones of 30, 35, and 40 years of service, including three employees who had the distinguished continuous service of 45 years.

The “My Legacy” recognition ceremony was held under the patronage and in the presence of HE Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, who thanked the dedication and commitment of the recognized employees during their years of service.

Speaking at the ceremony, HE Minister Al-Kaabi congratulated the honorees on their achievements and contributions towards making QatarEnergy what it is today, adding: “You have been part of our transformation journey over the years from Qatar General Petroleum Corporation to Qatar Petroleum, and now to QatarEnergy, which is a name to reckon with home and abroad, and a name that is synonymous with great talents and accomplishments.”

His Excellency Minister Al-Kaabi said: “We owe a lot to the men and women who have worked in this company for years before us, with us today, and even those who will join us in the future. There is no doubt that our accomplishments are a testament to your dedication to your jobs and to your contributions as you helped to the development of the many people around you to help make this company even better.”

Concluding his remarks, His Excellency the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, thanked the honored employees for their remarkable long service, and for the good work and dedication they have demonstrated over the years.

The “My Legacy” ceremony is a continuation of QatarEnergy’s recognition of its most valuable asset – its Human Capital. This year’s honorees also included 22 employees with 40 years of service, 65 employees with 35 years of service, and 62 years with 30 years of service.
