Club Mahindra launched in Doha

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd (MHRIL), a part of the leisure and hospitality sector of the $16.2bn multinational Mahindra Group, has launched its flagship brand Club Mahindra Holidays in Qatar.
Footprint Marketing is the franchisee of MHRIL in Qatar.
Sanjiv Arora, the ambassador of India to Qatar, was the chief guest at the launch function and lauded the effort of Footprint Marketing for bringing Club Mahindra brand to Doha.
Club Mahindra Holidays has a fast growing customer base of over 163,000 members and 41 resorts at some of the most exotic locations in India and abroad, including Dubai.
Chief Sales Officer for Club Mahindra, India, Rohit Malik, said: “Qatar with its eminent Indian diaspora will benefit from the concept and we are pleased to be here catering to the NRI’s.”
Sanjay Saini, the Director of Footprint Marketing, emphasised the importance of reliable service brands from India in the lives of expatriates, and how the connect with these companies need to be made stronger.
“As part of our expansion strategy, last year we embarked our reach to other GCC countries through franchisee channel. Today we feel proud and honoured to enter Qatar market, whose per capita income is highest in the world and one of the fastest growing economy in the world and as well in sync with the vision of Qatar to diversify beyond oil, giving high standard of living and promoting tourism,” said Pankaj Agarwal, Head Customer Acquisition, Middle East for Club Mahindra.
