The Qatar National Day 2016 Celebrations Organising Committee in collaboration with Ministry of Interior will organise ‘Sports Championship’. It comes as part of National Day Celebrations at Al Wakra Sports Club, Doha Industrial Area and Rayyan Sports Club for the communities, schools and companies from 8.30 am – 5 pm on Sunday, December 18. The competitions will be in football (7 players), volleyball (12 players) , basketball (15) , tug of war (10 members) and race.
The winners & runners of soccer, volleyball and basketball will be awarded QR1,500 & QR 1,000 respectively, while the winners & runners of tug of war will be awarded QR1,000 & QR500 respectively and winners of runners up of the race will be awarded cash prize of QR 500 and QR 250 in each of three locations. The basketball and volley ball will be held at Al Rayyan Sports Club.
