A large number of students participated in a discussion session with Qatar University (QU) President Dr Hassan Al Derham at the annual “Meet The President” event organised by the President’s Office at QU Ibn Khaldoon Hall.
The event aimed to engage dialogue with students to discuss matters of concern and interest, and to encourage their participation in university affairs. It was also attended by QU VPs, college deans, heads of departments and programmes, faculty and staff.
In his opening remarks, Dr Al Derham noted the importance of this annual gathering which aims to enhance the spirit of communication between students and the university. “QU continues to create an exciting and inspiring environment that encourages students’ participation in the learning experience."
