DOHA: Al Rayyan Municipality has launched an inspection drive to remove illegal advertisements placed randomly in Rawdat Al Iqdim, Bani Hajar and Thamid.
Violators will be booked under Law No. 1 of 2015 for regulating advertisements, executive regulations and ministerial decisions issued to curb illegal advertisements.
Meanwhile, inspectors of the municipality seized six beauty saloons for violating health rules last month. Some 199 violations related to food, 417 related to building rules and 233 related to public cleaning were also registered, Qatar News Agency reports.
