There is talk about the minster of environment’s decision to extend a ban on grazing for two years in all areas in the country.

There is talk that Barwa is planning to build five floating hotels for visitors expected for the 2022 Fifa World Cup.

Some people have urged the Consumer Protection Department to monitor sale of school supplies to ensure that the prices are not hiked, because it has been noticed that the prices vary from shop to shop.

It has been proposed that a committee be formed for selecting teachers who have contracts with the Supreme Education Council (SEC) to work in Independent schools on certain conditions. Once they fulfil all conditions, they will be regularised after a test. 

Some citizens are demanding that standards be formulated for those engaged in technical work, such as workers in garages, because many of them do not have any experience.

Talk about the announcement made by Hamad Medical Corporation of stopping non-emergency surgery which requires anaesthesia, due to lack of certain equipment.

Some people are complaining that there is no beach for families in Doha, and families have to travel 70km to 100km to beaches in other areas. They are asking for family beaches in Doha, which will attract more citizens and visitors from other Gulf countries as well.

There is talk about the SEC studying a number of proposals, among them one for reviewing the examination system.
