Masraf Al Rayan (Al Rayan) has been awarded the Commerzbank Straight-Through-Processing (STP) Award 2012 from Commerzbank, a German global banking and financial services company.
The award is in recognition of Masraf Al Rayan’s operational efficiency in the delivery of commercial payments.
The honour is also in recognition of Masraf Al Rayan’s financial institution transfers in euros without manual intervention.
The award was handed over to Maram Al Shamaisan, Executive Manager — Head of Central Operations, Masraf Al Rayan, in the presence of Masraf Al Rayan and Commerzbank executive and senior management in a ceremony at MAR head office in Doha.
Commerzbank representatives highlighted that Masraf Al Rayan’s performance was very impressive scoring STP efficiency rates of 97.2 percent and 99.50 percent despite significant growth in number and value of euro transactions.
