Tokyo - Tokyo stocks fell 0.31 percent Friday after talks on reforming Greece's bailout again ended in deadlock, just days before the cutoff for the country to repay a debt, raising fears it could default.

The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange eased 65.25 points to close at 20,706.15, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.23 percent, or 3.88 points, at 1,667.03.
