Tokyo---Tokyo stocks were flat by the break on Tuesday after a seven-day winning streak took the benchmark index to 15-year highs.
The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 2.48 points, or 0.01 percent, at 20,416.25, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.52 points, or 0.03 percent, at 1,658.63.
