DOHA: Qatar Stock Index (QSE) gained 9.64 points (0.08 percent) when the bourse closed trading at 12,409.13 points here Tuesday compared to 12,399.49 on Monday.
The market capitalization increased to QR658.77bn today from QR658.52bn registered Monday.
The traded value increased to QR535.46m with a volume of 13,853,332 shares from 6,190 transactions compared with QR483.06m with a volume of 13,803,447 shares from 5,456 transactions on Monday.
Real estate index was the top gainer today, up 1.55 percent to 3,008.38 points while telecom index fell the most by 0.98 percent to 1,254.08 points.
QSE Total Return Index gained 0.08 percent (19,284.43 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained 0.11 percent (4,720.1 points) and QSE All Share Index gained 0.12 percent (3,305.91 points).
Shares of all 43 listed companies saw trading today. From these 17 advanced, 21 declined and five remained unchanged.
