DOHA: Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is scheduled to arrive in Qatar tomorrow on a two-day visit.

Davutoglu is expected to meet Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and other senior officials during his visit.
“The visit of Davutoglu aims at strengthening relations between Ankara and Doha in various sectors, especially economy and investments,” said Qatari Ambassador to Turkey, Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi.
“Issues of common concern like security and politics will be discussed during the visit. The discussions will also focus on regional and international issues, notably the humanitarian crisis in Syria,” he added.  Aid being provided by charity organisations in Qatar to support Turkey to host Syrian refugees, supply of foods and medicines and other basic needs to refugee camps set up at boarder areas will also be discussed during the visit of Davutoglu, said Al Shafi.
Talks will also focus on boosting the Qatar-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee and follow up on implementation of the pacts that were inked between the two countries in a meeting held in Doha in December.
