Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) yesterday signed a cultural exchange agreement with the Arab Media Forum to enhance relations and cooperation in the areas of knowledge exchange and cultural, scientific, social and media activities.
The agreement seeks to exchange information and expertise to facilitate researchers’ tasks and provide opportunities for representatives from both sides to use their cultural and scientific facilities and exchange and publish books, periodicals and research for both parties on a regular basis
It was signed by Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Manager, Katara, and Madi Khamis, Secretary-General of the forum.
Khamis said the forum is keen to conclude such agreements as they have a positive impact on Arab societies through the exchange of expertise, skills and promotion of cultural aspects between various countries.
