The American Chamber of Commerce in Qatar (AmCham), a non-profit organisation dedicated to fostering mutual cooperation and understanding between Qatar and the United States through trade, commerce and investment, hosted the Third Annual Golf Tournament at the Doha Golf Club recently. AmCham members and executives from Qatar’s business community participated in the event sponsored by 19 companies. Chevron, CommercialBank Qatar, Qatargas and ExxonMobil were Platinum sponsors.
After a great day of weather and golf, the players concluded with a luncheon followed by the awards ceremony. Door prizes ranged from hotel stays, spa days and dinner for two. The prize of tickets for two to anywhere in the world was given by Qatar Airways. The winning team consisted of Greg Selfridge, Anton Moore, Brad Harris and William Anderson. Other sponsors included; Overseas Bechtel, Como, Fluor, Patton Boggs, Citi, Boeing, QFNS, Shaqab Abela Catering Services, Reed Personnel Services, Links Group of Companies, The St. Regis, The Four Seasons, Hilton Hotel, Renissance Marriott and The Concorde Hotel.
