Doha, Qatar: The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani marked Qatar Environment Day with a message underscoring the importance of protecting the nation’s natural resources and preserving its biodiversity.
In a post shared on his official social media account, HH the Amir highlighted the need to maintain a careful balance between Qatar’s development plans and long-term sustainability goals.
“On Qatar Environment Day, we recall the great importance of protecting our natural resources and preserving our biodiversity in a way that achieves a balance between our development plans and the sustainability we seek,” HH the Amir wrote.
His Highness also urged the public to play an active role in safeguarding the environment, stressing that environmental protection has a direct impact on public health and overall quality of life.
