Cambridge School wins U-16 tournament

Cambridge School won the U-16 Boys School Cricket Tournament after beating MES Indian School by six wickets in the final recently. The tournament was the first competition of the 2013 season. A total of 10 schools participated in the competition that began on January 12. The trophy was presented by Manzoor Ahmad, General Secretary of QCA. Muhammad Amjad Baig, Senior Coach, Sayed Hassan Raza, Head of Technical Committee and Aminul Islam, Member-School Cricket (Boys) were also present during the prize ceremony. Besides the finalists, DPS Modern Indian School, Bangladesh MHM School and College, Ideal Indian School, Bright Future Pakistani International School, Pak Shamaa School and College, Birla Public School, Dukhan English Speaking School and Stafford Sri Lankan School were the teams that took part in the tournament.
