Ahmed Yousef Al Derbesti, Group Chief Operations Officer, Ooredoo Group
In 2012, he became Ooredoo Group COO after serving as Chief Officer of Wholesale and International Services. He was with Ooredoo since 1985. Before joining Ooredoo Qatar, Ahmed had worked for the government involved with communications. Ahmed is also a Member of the Board of Arabsat. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University, and an MS in Electrical Engineering Specialization in Control Theory and System Analysis from George Washington University, and an MS in Management of Technology from MIT.
