Christophe de Margerie, Chairman and CEO of Total Group, met all employees of Total in Qatar during his recent visit to Doha. They included staff of Total E&P Qatar (Exploration and production) and employees from Total Marketing Qatar, and Refining & Petrochemicals Orient — RPO. De Margerie was accompanied by Yves-Louis Darricarrere, President Upstream, and Arnaud Breuillac, President Exploration and Production Middle East. The meeting was followed by a question and answer session. Yousef Al Jaber, an employee in the CSR Department, said: “All employees were able to discuss directly with De Margerie topics ranging from solar energy in our country, or our CSR strategy or Total’s commitment to Qatarisation. I was very positively surprised by the frank discussion, and openness in his answers. It gave us a better understanding of the qualities that contribute to making Total one of the top five oil and gas companies in the world.”
