• Some people demanded that authorities enforce new rules on companies, which were implementing government projects and said many firms were giving projects to subcontractors who were wasting time and public fund by making endless mistakes and creating complications in work.
• There were talks about the increasing number of beneficiaries of the social security scheme, which has reached 13,000 so far this year as authorities have added more elders, widows, orphans, divorcees and people with special needs to the list.
• Some people said infrastructure projects were affecting people’s daily life and suggested that there should be an electronic board to show work progress in each project so that the media and the general public could know when the projects would be completed.
