Maersk Oil Qatar held its 4th annual Qatarisation gathering recently. The oil operator presented awards to more than 30 employees for their Qatarisation efforts and reflected on several milestone deals and significant progress in its ‘Action for Qatar’ CSR efforts that are contributing to the country’s development. Awards for long service and outstanding achievement were handed to 30 Qataris while two appreciation certificates were presented to employees who had advanced Qatarisation within Maersk Oil. Special awards were presented to Maersk Oil Qatar’s Deputy Managing Director Sheikh Faisal Al Thani for his continuous support and to former Head of Qatarisation Fawzi Al Ajji for dedication to Qatarisation. Sheikh Jassim Al Thani, Maersk Oil Qatar’s Head of Qatarisation, was also present.
