Senior managers and employees of Katara Hospitality paid a first visit to the Shafallah Centre for Children with Special Needs.
Led by Chief Executive Officer Hamad Abdulla Al Mulla, the Katara Hospitality delegation spent time with the children, engaging in sports and entertainment activities.
The visit ended with a short speech delivered by Al Mulla and all children received gift bags with age appropriate educational toys to mark the moment.
Al Mulla said the visit was only the first step in what he hoped would be a long and supportive relationship between the organisations.
“We have been moved, impressed and motivated today. We were moved by the wonderful children; it was a privilege to meet them and spend time and engage with them. We were all impressed by the work of the Centre, by its modern facilities and its highly professional and committed staff. And I speak for all the Katara Hospitality party when I say we were motivated to help further,” he said.
