Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani visited this morning the Shura Council exhibition, which is being held in conjunction with the fifty years of the founding of the Council, and on the occasion of the opening of the fifty-first annual session of the Council at the council headquarters.
During the visit, His Highness the Amir was briefed on a set of records, letters and collections that present the history of the Shura Council since its founding in 1972 and its men who contributed to its path and legislative efforts.
His Highness the Amir was accompanied by HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, and HE Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Vice-President of the Shura Council.
