Doha, Qatar: The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) received a delegation from the Swiss Confederation, comprising representatives from centers and institutions specializing in mine clearance and ordnance disposal.
They were welcomed by Major General Nawaf Majid Al-Ali, Assistant Commander for Security Operations.
During their visit to the Lekhwiya camp, the delegation was briefed on the operational and training systems and specialized equipment of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit. They also learned about the unit's key technical and operational capabilities.
The two sides held a coordination meeting to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in related fields. They explored opportunities to develop training programs and implement joint projects that contribute to strengthening capabilities and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two sides.
