Doha: Qatar has welcomed the announcement by the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) of reaching a peace agreement in the country. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the peace agreement between the Colombian government and FARC is a historic step towards achieving peace and ending the conflict in Colombia.
The statement stressed Qatar’s support for the Colombian government and friendly people in all that promotes security and stability in the country.
