DOHA: The Cultural Village Foundation-Katara continues to support the ongoing relief campaign in aid of needy families in Somalia.
Generous donors from different parts of the country provided assistance and contributions in cash and in kind, that were worth QR2,319,816. All contributions will be distributed to drought-affected areas in Somalia over the coming months. Salman Al Naimi, Speaking on the occasion, chairman of Katara’s Relief Campaign Committee, said: “The tangible and intangible items will be delivered by QRCS. The items consist of large quantities of dates, refrigerators, beds and mattresses, blankets, winter accessories and children’s clothing.”
