Prayers will be held today at 5.30pm in memory of Indian national Bahanan M B, 52, (pictured), a long-time resident of Qatar, who died of a heart attack on Thursday night. His wife Atheen Bahanan is a teacher at MES Indian School Doha. The couple’s only child, Abin Bahanan, is an engineering student in India. The prayers will be held at the mortuary.
Bahanan was an employee of
M R Facilities. Bahanan hails from Valanjavattam, Thiruvalla, in Kerala. The funeral will take place at St Mary’s Orthodox Church, Niranam, later.
