Milaha wins big at Seatrade Middle East awards

Doha: Milaha (Qatar Navigation) has received two major accolades at the recent Seatrade Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Awards 2013 held in Dubai, the UAE recently.
Known as the "Oscars" of the maritime world, the awards were presented at a glittering gala dinner attended by more than 800 leaders and senior executives from the regions maritime sector, according to a press release the company issued here on Saturday.
Milaha’s President & CEO, Khalifa Ali Al Hetmi, received the "Seatrade Outstanding Achievement Award", a special award presented to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the industry in the region and have dominated the headlines. In addition, Halul Offshore Services Company, a wholly-owned Milaha subsidiary, took home the "Marine & Offshore Services Award" to complete a strong showing by Milaha.
