Istanbul: The Minister of Economy and Trade H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani has called on countries participating in the 4th Bosphorus Summit organised by the International Cooperation Platform to apply more efforts to develop a roadmap for economic cooperation based on transparency and freedom of information exchange.
Addressing the Summit which was held in the Turkish city of Istanbul, the Minister of Economy said this roadmap would create a healthy global economic environment based on mutual trust coupled with an effective mechanism to remove all barriers to the flow of goods and services between countries.

This method, he said, could help in attaining added value to the economies of countries as well as for the world economy.
The Summit focused on avenues of potential partnership in construction, real estate, contracting and the health sector, as the Mena region takes on a key geo-strategic role.
The meet convened for the fourth time in Istanbul, with the attendance of high ranking representatives from over 55 countries. QNA
