Students of Birla Public School contributed to the drive launched by the Capital Security Department in coordination with Qatar Charity to help the people of Philippines and Somalia.
QR10,000 was collected on the first day and the contribution was from the primary section.
Principal A K Shrivastava, Senior Vice Principal Shirly Rappai, Vice Principal George Edison, Administrative Manager Joseph K, Senior Headmistress Ganti Bhanumathi, Headmistress– Activities Sindhu Manoj, Grade V teachers and students were present during the handing over of the money.
Captain Khalifa Mubarak Al Kaabi from the Capital Security Department (Ministry of Interior), Nasar Mohammed of Qatar Charity and Community Police personnel attended the function at Birla Public School. On behalf of the students, the Head Boy and the Head Girl of the Primary Section handed over the money to Capt Al Kaabi.
