DOHA: Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) has received a group of trainee assistant prosecutors as part of the fourth compulsory training course, organised by the Legal and Judicial Studies Center at the Ministry of Justice, for the purpose of becoming familiar with the nature of QFMA’s work and responsibilities in the control and supervision areas.
The visit covers the practical side of the compulsory training course to get acquainted with the nature of the functioning of the QFMA and its role in strengthening the Qatari capital market through regulation and supervision. The delegation met a number of officials in the QFMA, who presented QFMA’s objectives.
The presentation also included a highlight of QFMA’s legislations, in particular Dispute Settlement Regulation, procedures of Disciplinary Committee and the procedures followed before the Appeals Committee in the QFMA.
