Doha, Qatar: The Cultural Village Foundation Katara will present International Space Week 2026 from October 4 to 7, offering visitors of all ages a chance to explore the wonders of the universe.
The four-day event will run daily from 4pm to 7pm at The Planetarium Al-Thuraya, Building 41, in Katara Cultural Village.
Organised in cooperation with Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, World Space Week Qatar and Sufara’a Ahdaf (Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadors), the programme aims to promote awareness of space science, technology and their role in supporting sustainable development.
It forms part of Katara’s ongoing efforts to promote scientific awareness and cultural engagement as a leading destination for diverse experiences in Qatar.
According to an announcement on Katara’s social media accounts, the week’s activities will feature a varied schedule designed to inspire curiosity about space exploration.
Free workshops accompany the main programme, allowing participants to register easily via a QR code or online link provided by the organisers.
