DOHA : Media Plus, a local advertising and event management company, in association with Friends Cultural Centre and Anti-Smoking Society Qatar, organised an awareness programme to mark World Humanitarian Day.
Muhammed Hafiz, Executive Director, Bradma Group, inaugurating the event and called on the community to work for the welfare and peaceful coexistence of society.
“The world we live in is faced with challenges and we have to overcome all issues with an open mind based on the feelings of humanity and fraternity. Service to the humanity should be our prime aim,” he said.
In his keynote address, Taj Aluwa elaborated on calamities and hardships being faced by human beings across the world and exhorted the audience to stand for wiping the tears of suffering brethren. “In this mission, we all have to have single feeling of oneness of mankind and one humanity.” M T Nilambur and Niyas Abdul Naser also spoke.
Amanulla Vadakkangara, CEO, Media Plus, conducted the event. “It is part of our corporate social responsibility to take the message of the day across the community.”
