Qatari sprinter Abdalelah Haroun celebrates after winning the gold medal in the 400 metres final at AAF World U20 Championships 2016 held in Polish city of Bydgoszcz. He finished first, clocking 44.81 seconds, Will London (US) came second (45.27 seconds) and Botswana’s Karabo Sibanda third (45.45). Qatari athlete Hamdi Al Amin won the bronze medal in the high jump final, making a personal record of 2.23 metres. The gold medal went to Cuban Luis Enrique Zayas and the silver to US Darius Carbin. A total of 1,518 athletes from 60 countries are participating.
