DOHA: Jassim Foundation (JF) and Hamad Bin Jassim Charity is providing financial support to Qatar Diabetes Association to help needy people with diabetes, who are unable to buy sugar checking devices.
Saeed Al Hajri (pictured), CEO of the foundation, said that “we are delighted in supporting such work organised by the association for taking care of patients and their families”. Al Hajri said that it is important to participate in such humanitarian activities, stressing on his keenness to support the association’s efforts and its vision in general on social development and health projects.
He explained that the foundation gives special priority to health projects and focuses on building health facilities. Dr Abdullah Al Hamaq, Executive Director of Qatar Diabetes Association, thanked the foundation for its support for needy people to buy sugar checking devices, which enable them to find out the sugar level in their blood.
He also mentioned that the help by the foundation help them to reach more needy people and their families, and till now around 700 people benefited from this support.
“Such support is excellent chance to build relationships based on humanitarian services, and we expect more such success in the future,” he added.The Peninsula
