DOHA: Al Rayyan Theatre at Souq Waqif has been named after Qatari composer and musician Abdulaziz Nasser Al Obaidan who died on Friday at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with illness, Al Sharq reports. The renaming of the theatre is in appreciation for Al Obaidan’s musical and cultural works, including the composition of Qatar national anthem.
