Doha, Qatar: The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) announced the automation of the end-of-service gratuity calculation service within the “Mawared” system, as part of efforts to enhance digital services and improve the efficiency of internal operations.
In a post on its X platform account, it said the automation of the service contributes to accelerating procedures, enhancing calculation accuracy, and unifying processing mechanisms in accordance with approved regulations.
CGB explained that gratuity calculations are now conducted automatically based on employee data registered in the system, in line with the Civil Human Resources Law and its executive regulations, and in full alignment with the directives of the Policy Management Department.
According to the post, the new system saves 90 percent of the time compared to previous procedures and enables the generation of a full report within a maximum of five seconds.
The report provides a comprehensive and detailed overview of end-of-service gratuity calculation elements and approved service periods, supporting accurate review and ease of verification.
It added that automating the service eliminates manual intervention, ensuring accuracy of results and reducing the possibility of errors.
