Q-Auto, the official dealer of Audi and Volkswagen in Qatar, opened two showrooms recently. Among the attendees were Christian Klingler, Member of the Group Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at Volkswagen AG, Trevor Hill, Managing Director of Audi Middle East, Thomas Milz, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East and many other distinguished guests.
With 30 Audi vehicles and 33 Volkswagen cars on display, the Audi and Volkswagen showrooms combined, span over 6,200sqm in floor space, making them two of the largest car brand showrooms in Qatar. Both dealerships are positioned side by side and can be easily spotted when driving through Salwa road.
Commenting on the showroom opening Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser bin Khaled Al Thani, Chairman of Q-Auto said: “We are honoured to share this memorable milestone with our distinguished guests from around the world. The opening of the showrooms represents the commitment and tenacity of Q-Auto to deliver new standards of excellence, as we gain momentum in the automotive business.
“We have opened two of the largest showrooms in the country as a result of the exceptional growth that we have experienced since our operations began. We are looking forward to further expanding our facilities in the near future.”

Trevor Hill, Managing Director of Audi Middle East, said: “Audi is the fastest growing German premium brand in the Middle East and Qatar is an important driving force on the route to achieving our goal to sell 20,000 cars annually by 2020.”
Thomas Milz, Managing Director, Volkswagen Middle East said: “While we are in the business of selling cars, our remit stretches much further than that. The Audi showroom accentuates the lines of luxury, elegance and comfort; the interior setup entwines a clean-lined black, grey and white color scheme in which the brand identity is reflected through. In addition, comfortable white lounge areas are situated across the showroom with the walls displaying interactive touch screens.
Positioned on the left hand side is the Volkswagen showroom, which incorporates the design of a new modular concept.
The portal of the new dealership is inviting, friendly and open, serving as the brand’s global architectural calling card. Lined with blue and white walls, the showroom exudes a youthful and over all sporty appearance.
Kevin Hughes, General Manager of Q-Auto Qatar commented on the reveal by saying: “The current expansion is a result of how both brands have progressed in the recent years, with Audi growing at approximately 59percent and Volkswagen increasing by over 58 percent since 2012. Our investment in the upscale showroom not only reflects the confidence and success of Q-Auto, but it also symbolises our resolve to place the most sought after ranges before our customers.”
