Dr Aiman Erbad
Qatar University College of Engineering (QU-CENG) recently hosted the ‘University Industry Network Session,’ aimed to highlight the relevant engineering research priorities of the National Priorities Research Program (NPRP) tenth cycle and to identify opportunities for collaboration between academics and stakeholders.
The event brought together representatives from many industries and government agencies who had the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences on different research areas related to ICT, energy and environment, biomedics and health, and arts and social sciences.
The event was attended by CENG Dean Dr Khalifa Al Khalifa, Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Program Director Dr Munir Tag, CENG associate deans for Academic Affairs Prof Abdelmagid Hammuda, for Development and Industrial Relations Dr Saud Ghani, and for Research and Graduate Studies Prof Abbes Amira, and QU Director of Research Support Dr Aiman Erbad, as well as CENG faculty and staff.
The programme included a presentation on CENG’s multidisciplinary research priorities by Prof Amira, and presentations delivered by Dr Tag and Dr Erbad.
