Quality Management Qatar organised the third Congress for the Food Safety Committee on Tuesday.
The event was held in Qatar University and hosted by Quality Managements’ organiser Maria Nakajima and was attended by a number of representatives like hygiene managers and food and beverage managers from the private sector such as five-star hotels, food importers and restaurants. Government organisations like municipalities and Ministry of Health also participated.
The congress was supported by Global Group, ISO certification body, Al Rayas Group, British Material Suppliers, and Highfield, British Santizer.
The meet aimed to exchange information and updates between the government and the private sector.
The main objective was to share regulations and standards of hygiene and food safety in Qatar with the private sector, thus reflecting on the important role the committee plays.
