Doha, Qatar: Minister of Labour H E Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri yesterday met with a number of Ministers and senior officials participating in the Fifth Islamic Conference of Labour Ministers (ICLM) in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.
In separate meetings, Dr. Al Marri conversed with Palestine’s Minister of Labour H E Nasri Abu Jaish, Burkina Faso’s Minister of Labour and Social Security H E Bassolma Bezie, Turkish Minister of Labour and Social Security H E Vedat Işıkhan and Uganda’s Minister of Gender, Labour, and Social Development H E Betty Amongi.
These discussions focused around cooperative ventures and recent progress in the labour sector.
They also focused on enhancing and advancing these areas, alongside an exchange of perspectives on the conference’s agenda topics.
