The assault on Qatar constitutes a blatant violation of international norms and a heinous act, which we classify as state terrorism: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani

The retreat of the logic of the international system in the face of the logic of force means allowing the rule of the jungle to prevail: HH the Amir.

There is a disastrous shortsightedness in this behavior. Those who commit transgressions in international relations consider tolerance to be a sign of weakness: HH the Amir

"Ladies and gentlemen, as you know, Doha was targeted on September 9 by a treacherous attack that targeted a meeting attended by leaders of the Hamas Political Bureau, which took place in a residential neighbourhood near schools and diplomatic missions. This attack resulted in the martyrdom of six people, among them a Qatari citizen who was a member of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), and the injury of 18 others," said HH the Amir.

"This attack was a dangerous violation of a state's sovereignty, and a blatant and unjustified violation of international norms and conventions," HH the Amir added.

"It is an attack on a mediator, a peace-making country, dedicating its diplomacy to resolve conflicts in a peaceful manner."  "A country that has been, for two years, spending strenuous efforts to reach a settlement that would stop the genocidal war being waged on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip," HH the Amir said.

Israel is not a democratic state in a hostile environment, as its leaders claim. Rather, it is in fact hostile to its surroundings: HH the Amir

This treacherous attack on a Gulf country's sovereignty, which is thousands of miles away, has shown that the Israeli government president, who brags about changing the face of the Middle East in the past two years, really means that Israel can intervene whenever and wherever it wants: HH the Amir

"They visit our country and plan to bomb it, they negotiate with delegations and plan to assassinate their members, it is difficult to deal with this mentality that does not respect the simplest principles of human interactions, thus making it almost impossible to anticipate their actions. Isn't this the definition of a rogue government?" HH the Amir said.

"The State of Qatar has chosen to remain, as always, faithful to its approach of standing with the values and principles upon which the international community is supposed to be based, and believing in the possibility of reconciling them with interests when politics is rational and realistic," HH the Amir added.

"The State of Qatar has its diplomatic efforts to contribute to resolving other crises, such as the war in Ukraine and the wars in Africa. These persistent efforts, along with our partners in the African continent, have yielded significant steps toward achieving peace, most prominent being the signing of the Declaration of Principles in Doha between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Congo River Alliance/March 23 Movement."

The war in Gaza marks one of the darkest moments in this institution's history: HM King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan

Particularly in Gaza, right before our very eyes, genocide has been going on for over 700 days now. Even as we gather here, as we speak now, Israel is currently massacring civilians in Gaza: President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

"The genocide in Gaza is being broadcast live every moment through the media and social media. So far, Israel has deliberately killed 250 journalists working in national and international media in Gaza," he added. President Erdogan further stressed that "he attack on Qatar has also shown that the Israeli leadership is now completely out of control."

Indonesia is prepared to deploy 20,000 or even more of our sons and daughters to help secure peace in Gaza or elsewhere, in Ukraine, in Sudan, in Libya, everywhere where peace needs to be enforced, needs to be guarded: President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto.

US President Donald Trump: In May, I traveled to the Middle East to visit my friends and rebuild our partnerships in the Gulf and those valued relationships with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE
"I have also been deeply engaged in seeking a ceasefire in Gaza," he said.
"We have to stop  the war in Gaza and immediately negotiate peace," Trump added.

President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Lula da Silva, says the only war of which everyone can emerge victorious is the one we wage against hunger and poverty.
"Nothing, absolutely nothing, justifies the ongoing genocide in Gaza," he said.
"In Gaza, hunger is used as a weapon of war and the forced displacement of populations goes on unpunished. The Palestinian people are at risk of disappearing. They will only survive with an independent state integrated into the international community," he added.
