Qatar Judo team, which took part in the 19th GCC Judo Championship in Abu Dhabi, UAE, poses for a group picture. Qatar team finished their campaign on a high note, winning eight medals including five gold, one silver and two bronze. Qatar senior team comprising of Waleed Aziz and Nasser Al Ansi won the gold medal in Kata class, while the youth team, including Mohammed Rabahi and Khalil Rabahi took two gold medals in the 73kg and 81 kg while Qatar’s Fadi Taofik clinched the bronze medal in the 90kg class. Top players from six GCC nations, including hosts UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Qatar took part in the championship.
